A Woman of Faith

Here is my Aunt.  A great woman of faith.  She sold her house in obediance to God.  So few Christians these day value God more then what they owe.  I'm so proud of her.

broken

My leg is broken and this could cause me to gain a lot of weight.  However, I've been very good to not eat too much junk food.
Looking forward to getting out of this thing and getting some exercise and spend time with my friends

Laughing At Myself

Time for more study notes:

It's odd to be thanked for doing what I consider doing my duty.

"Love and gratitude that food nourishes and sustains you." M.Williamson, 2010, Pg.76  ~I have the knowledge but not the love.

This is another book that I am reading and a highly recommend to everyone.

here is my desire statement

I am a Recovering Over eater and in the past I would eat to forget my pain.  I have learned since then that food can only nourish my body and being healthy is the only way to deal with my problems.

Positive Thoughts

These are words I keep in mind to make me smile.

Enthusiasm~ extreme enjoyment

Relaxation~"processes by which nuclear magnetization returns to the equilibrium distribution"

Meditation~ a reflective thought

Discipline~  rules that are enforced weather self-enforced or by others

Yoga~ a very relaxing exercise that has helped my back feel better

Silence~ something we all need time and time again

123

"When we inevitably go off a diet, then we usually blame ourselves.  Thus, humiliation, guilt, anger, and shame are inherent in most diet and lifestyle programs, and these are among the most toxic emotions." M. Williamson, 2010, Pg. 5
Diets, it's funny you should bring that up.  At 6years old I became fascinated with ingredients.  Telling my parents that it was important to know what we were putting in our bodies.  My parents discouraged this, fearing that I would become a calorie counter.  I understand why they did this but I wish that I had not listened.
